Hey y'all, I'm Shannon Laughter!

I grew up in a small town in North Carolina that I'm sure many haven't heard of. Growing up you could find me outside riding four-wheelers or with friends. I always had a camera of some sort. I remember the Polaroid i-zone fondly. I will never forget when I got my first digital camera as a teen. I was hooked!

After high school, I went to Western Carolina University where I majored in Social Work. While living in the Whee (Cullowhee) I met my now husband and his son Aidan. My last semester I had a 40 hour internship which left no time for a job, so my love for photography morphed into a business. After college we got married and a few years later had our son Wyatt.

As a wife and mom, I look around and see how fast time goes and how quickly our little ones grow and change. It's extremely important to document these stages in your life. I find so much fulfillment and joy working with people through all these stages. I have been blessed to work with couples announcing their engagements to their pregnancies and on to their family photos. I have clients that I started taking their family photos and now I'm doing senior portraits as they prepare to send their child off to college. Forever thankful and blessed for each person that chooses to invest in me.
